Why get a non-surgical facelift?
There are many different aesthetic results that can be achieved through a non-surgical facelift and the desired outcomes of each client will determine the best approach to take.
After examining your face, and discussing exactly what treatment options are available, the ideal approach will be agreed upon and a treatment plan can be made.
Some of the main reasons that you may decide to have a non-surgical facelift include:
- Lifting jowls
- Reducing sagging skin
- Redefine the jawline
- Reducing the signs of folds between nose and mouth
- Eliminating turkey neck
- Reducing facial and neck fat
What are the goals of a non-surgical facelift?
Most people choose to have a non-surgical facelift to help reduce the signs of aging and achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
An effective non-surgical facelift will increase contouring and help to smooth skin, reducing signs of tiredness, anger, or sadness, and can take years off your look.
What are the risks of surgery?
Many people who would like to achieve a more youthful appearance through cosmetic treatments avoid doing so out of a fear of going under the knife in a surgical procedure.
Although a highly trained expert surgeon will do all they can to limit the chances of anything going wrong during surgery there is certainly a higher level of risk involved than with non-surgical alternatives.
What are the benefits of a non-surgical facelift?
You may think that the low risk associated with surgery is worth taking to achieve the perfect look, but why take the chance when the same result, if not better, is achievable using non-invasive methods.
Just some of the many advantages to non-surgical facelifts that have seen them rise dramatically in popularity include:
Short recovery time
After just 1-2 weeks the redness and swelling from a non-surgical facelift will disappear, and the impact on your overall life will be extremely limited.
In comparison, it can take as much as 4-6 weeks to recover from a surgical facelift.
Long Lasting
There is a common misconception that non-surgical facelifts will only last a short while before top up treatment is required, but this is not the case.
Unlike Botox or Dermal Fillers that need to be replenished after a few months, the effects of a non-surgical facelift, using permanent spring threads, can last up to 5 years, similar to that of the surgical alternative.
No Scars
As no incisions to the skin will be made during a non-surgical facelift there will be no scars in the target area.
A skilled doctor will make the signs of scarring minimal when conducting surgery but even so, an infection to the area could lead to unsightly raised scars.
All negative evidence of a non-surgical facelift, such as bruising, swelling, and redness, will normally vanish within days of treatment, leaving you free to enjoy your new look.
How does a non-surgical facelift work?
When you choose to have a non-surgical facelift with Luxe Skin Face Lift, we will use a proven combination of FaceTite/NeckTite and radio frequency assisted liposuction to help you achieve your ideal look.
If required, spring threads can also be implanted alongside this process for even superior lift results.
Once the target areas and treatment methods have been agreed upon, a non-surgical facelift will proceed as follows:
- A local anaesthetic called tumescent will be injected to numb the entire face and neck area.
- A small probe will then be inserted into the fat layer of the face.
- Through this probe, a radio frequency will be delivered, causing fat to melt and collagen to tighten in response.
- Any excess fat will then be aspirated using a cannula.
- At this stage, is needed, permanent spring threads can be inserted into the target areas to lift and anchor the cheeks, jowls, neck, and/or chin.
- The threads will be tightened and cut flush to the skin to produce an instant lifting effect
How much does a non-surgical facelift cost?
The cost of a surgical facelift will vary from clinic to clinic, but you should expect to pay in the region of £8000-10000.
You should NEVER choose a plastic surgeon for surgery based solely on the price offered and discount surgical facelifts should be avoided, especially given the risks attached should something go wrong.
Non-surgical facelifts, on the other hand, are much more cost effective, with our treatments ranging from £3450-£4950.
