Ros has a long history in nursing since the 1970's and has worked in all areas of medicine. She has specialist qualifications in Oncology and Palliative Care/cancer nursing.

Through her Palliative Care experience she learned the vital importance of addressing health issues in a holistic way. Drawn to explore this at deeper levels, she studied Shiatsu therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner in 1997, and soon after introduced this into the programme of care at St. Helena Hospice where she became the Complementary Therapy Co-ordinator.

During her studies of complementary medicine she discovered Craniosacral Therapy both as part of her Shiatsu training and by receiving treatments. The benefits were impressive and this inspired her to take the 2 year post-graduate training.

She studied Craniosacral Therapy with Franklyn Sills at the Karuna Institute in Devon, qualifying in 2001. She is currently an assistant teacher on the Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner Training at the CTET in London.
