Clare has been a practising Aromatherapist and Massage Practitioner since 1994. Prior to relocating to Colchester, she lived and worked in London seeing clients at Neal's Yard Therapy Rooms, Covent Garden and the South London Natural Health Centre, Clapham.

Since 1997, Clare has worked for the Central and Cecil Housing Trust giving Aromatherapy treatments in residential/nursing homes which provide care for elderly clients who are physically very frail or in the later stages of dementia (Alzheimer's disease).

Clare trained in the 'Dr Vodder' method of 'Manual Lymphatic Drainage' with Anne Vadgama in 1997. She is qualified in Basic and 'Therapy 1' courses as set by the Dr Vodder School, Walchee, Austria. She is a member of the Association for Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD uk).

From May 1999, Clare spent 5 months in South Africa studying the Body Stress Release Technique at the Body Stress Release Academy in Rondevlei on the Western Cape. She is one of only 17 practitioners at present in the UK. She is a member of the Body Stress Release Association UK (MBSRA-uk)which is also a full member association of the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA).
